Post-game reaction: Hat Trick Swayze

Wow. A much-needed game to win, and they won it in a commanding fashion. They came out of the gate and kept scoring. 3/6 on the PP (though against the world’s worst PK, that’s not saying a ton), 8 goals, a hat trick and a playmaker. Tons of great stats here:

-6 players scored goals

-5 players had multi-point games

However, Northeastern also took 14 penalties. That’s the only weak part of the game. After Northeastern took off, they got very chippy with UVM, and the penalties racked up.

I’m hoping to see Northeastern continue to roll tomorrow. Make this series a springboard to launch the rest of their season, and pick up their play. If they play like they played tonight, I’ll be looking forward to the rest of the season.
