Providence Recap

Ah, a win. it’s good to see again. Scoring 5 goals, from 3 different lines is a terrific way to win. Not to mention getting a good team-wide effort to win it.

Congrats to Drew Ellement on his first collegiate goal of his career.

I was unable to go to the game so I followed it via Hockey East Online and twitter, but I liked what I saw. Scoring fast and chasing Beaudry early was terrific, as it forced Providence to try and dig themselves from a hole that they eventually never could. Scoring another pair in the 2nd sealed the deal.

It looked like the line shakeups worked pretty well. Props to Ludwig Karlsson, who scored another goal and is proving himself to be a terrific player.

All in all, good win. The Huskies were able to score and never look back, and that’s something we haven’t seen in a while.
