Postgame Thoughts: Three Seconds

That’s all that was left in the game. 3 seconds was all that BC needed to score the game-winner. You can’t even blame a bad bounce here, because Northeastern had benefited from bad bounces all night, avoiding being destroyed by BC by a lot wider margin.

The failures to win here are pretty obvious. Northeastern’s power play is still ineffective, and they need to shoot. Being outshoot 2-1 is simply unacceptable. Northeastern needs to get more than 20 shots a game if it wants to get points. It needs for someone to shoot.

In the end, Rawlings stood on his head and kept the Huskies in it, but we couldn’t find a way to score more than 1 goal. That’s the most basic explanation for our loss.
